- Relationship links
- ==================
-
- After creating a hypertext access system with many ways to reach
- each of the contained ideas (i.e. adding redundancy taxonomies),
- then the next step is linking each idea to its closest neighbors.
-
- Here's the art of making cross-links among similar ideas:
-
- If an idea appears in 3 separate files, each contains
- hypertext jumps to the other 2 occurrences.
-
- If an idea appears in 7 separate files, don't include 6
- hypertext jumps in each file. Instead, include in each
- of the files 2 hypertext links such that any of the set
- of files can be reached from any file within 3 jumps.
-
- If an idea appears in 20 separate files, link each of the
- files to a two-level menu system that further classifies
- the subtleties of the concept.
-
- SUMMARY: Each file should have 2-3 hypertext jumps to related ideas.
